Having trouble with Blogger

Besides the fact that my pictures on iPhoto suddenly won't show up when I'm logged into Blogger, I have been having trouble getting online to blog a little.

This is why.

Someone has been planted here, day after day. Someone who gets home 2 hours before me. Someone who loves his computer.

I have to wait until after 9 or 10, when I am too tired. (Not so much the night owl anymore, am I?)

Playing with Photo Booth

Oh, we are having SO much fun with our new computer. One of the best things is the camera. Now we are videoconferencing with Cousin Hannah and Aunt Amy. It is so cool to talk and see each other. We have also talked to Grandma Chris and, even though she doesn't have a camera, she can see us. It is so weird how far away we are yet how close we seem at times. So different from when I first moved here to Ecuador and a letter took 3 weeks. So strange to think we used to live like that, haha (although I still LOVE getting letters in the mail - emails can't compare in some ways).

We also like to play with the actual photo booth feature. The kids took like 20 sessions of pictures, where 4 pictures are snapped very quickly, like in the old-fashioned photo booths. They kept moving around (I think they thought it was video) so the pictures were a bit blurry. We'll have to practice a bit more to get the hang of it. :)

(Boy, when they asked me if I wanted antiglare glasses, I didn't realize otherwise I would get the GLARE version.)

A new Mac

We got a new computer today. So excited! An iMac, huge screened! I love it. Everything is wireless - including the keyboard! We can actually open iPhoto in a second or two, instead of waiting 20 seonds for it to load. So exciting. The kids are even more excited - they can finally play the Nick Jr. online games!

A "New" Computer

Andres got our old Performa up and running and the kids have been excited to have their own computer to play on. Agustin especially, since his friends are always talking about their Wiis and computers and TVs. I doubt very much that those things belong to the kids (ummm, probably to the parents?), but Tin is convinced everyone has more than him. Oh well, get used to it, kiddo!

Kas isn't usually left alone on the laptop, but with this computer he can be on it without supervision, so he is excited to get on it and type. He types and types and types, and if you didn't know any better, it would look like he really knew what he was typing.

I suppose Aunt Amy would have a problem with all that typing going on in the other room, but the clickety clack of the keys just makes me smile!
