Life gets back to normal. But we will always have the vuvuzelas.

The World Cup is finally over, and life will be getting back to normal. Today, the kids got the last two vuvuzelas left at KFC.

Lucky us.

If Nico gets his way, we will all be deaf by the end of the day.

it's the cutest picture, but I feel awful for you and Andres having to listen to those things :/

That picture of Kas is just priceless, that thing is so much larger than him.
I am sure by now they are over the novelty of those things...that's the good thing about annoying toys...they eventually wear out.

When Hannah looked at this picture she wanted to know why the boys were blowing into those things. I told her cause that's what they use to make noise at soccer games. Her next question 'why?'
Got any tips for me??

Also....why does it appear that there is a pet dish on the floor....? is there something you need to tell us?!

haha, not a pet dish at all, it collects ashes from the portable fireplace. and why that big ol' thing is in my house is not a question i am willing to (continue) asking!

oh, and those vuvuzelas are something they use in south africa, but now with the world cup they've become a phenomenon. here they just chant (ole, ole ole ole) or whistle (which is like our booing).
