Need a handy tip? Any time the kids (or husband) want to eat something that makes TONS of crumbs, if it is still light out - send them OUTSIDE!
This is typical in my house.
"Mommy, we want barquillos!"
"Ok, out you go."
Not having to sweep up 6,000,000 pieces of barquillos is a good thing. Of course by morning we will be invaded by the birds, as they eat up all the crumbs in the yard. It'll be a regular Alfred Hitchcock around here at 6 a.m.

This makes me giggle. Thinking of you standing in the house pointing to the outside, the boys hanging their heads and marching outside to eat their treat.
