Fog, fog and more fog

Every late afternoon and evening this week has been foggy.

One thing I love about the location of our house is that it is warmer than other parts of Quito, partly because of the area and partly because it isn't so high up. The afternoons are usually sunny here but in the south you can see the dark rain clouds rolling in. When it rains here it is usually at night. I love listening to the rain as I fall asleep.

Another nice thing is that the rain isn't as cold as in other areas - because of the sunny afternoons it usually brings a little humidity, which warms things up. And we often get fog in early morning or late evening, and it feels cozy and autumn-ish.
